Weekend !

So here they are, extensions are in!!!! Overall I'm happy, my only issues are that she decided to spruce it up and put blonde pieces in at the end of my hair and I'm not really feeling it. I really like to keep it natural and as less noticeable as possible and I feel like with the blonde even though it's subtle you can really tell that I have extensions. I will most likely have them died to my natural color.

As you can see they are super long, right down to my stomach! I'm thinking that I am going to have them trimmed to again have a more natural appeal.

Sorry for the bad picture, I can only rely on my iphone right now for photos. What do you guys think? Also don't ask me why my bum looks saggy in this pic, not a fan hahaha...

Here are all the products needed to care for my extensions. Forewarning if you are thinking about getting them, they are very high maintenance. I will do a separate blog post on how to care for your extensions, as it is SO crucial to the health of your own hair as well as the longevity of your extensions.

A few posts ago I mentioned my acne problem and that I had an appointment with a dermatologist. The doctor was so great, really nice guy and knew exactly what to do in order to clear up my skin. Below is my treatment plan, fingers crossed it works!

Essentially I am using two methods of treatment combined together which are;

1. Oral Medication - Apo-doxy 100MG - 1 tablet nightly with a large class of water and a small snack. I eat a few crackers or cut up pieces of fruit.
2. Differin Topical Cream - Applied nightly to a clean face. It states to only apply a thin film to all affected areas.

This is totally random however here are some roses I collected out of my Mom's garden this weekend. I found this vase I bought so long ago, and I thought the flowers worked perfect in it!

M.I.A - Camera

So I think it has been officially a week since I posted last, one week too long! I was on vacation visiting my grandparents whom don't have internet access, and I am not organized enough to previously post before I leave that I am going to be M.I.A. - Need to work on that.

Initially this post was going to be on the trip and pictures - since I was right on a lake - SO relaxing. HOWEVER I seemed to have MISPLACED my camera, please note how I said the word misplaced and not lost. I'm praying it is still in the back of my grandparents car. If not some lucky person has my life and all of my memories... that really pains me ! It also means that I have to use my Iphone as a camera temporarily... I hope.

Tonight amoung other things I have been catching up on blog readings and relaxing ! I might have also watched Jersey Shore on MTV.ca - but don't judge.

I also re-organized my perfume collection, before they were underneath my bathroom sink, and pretty much all over the place. I bought a ceramic tray to put them on for $2.00 and voila!

Lastly I also painted my nails, a new funky color called Atomic by LA Colors. It was a really cheap polish (cost wise), but after two coats it looks great!

Besides that it's my boyfriends birthday this weekend, and I'm getting in my hair extentions so I'm super excited. I have my outfit all picked out and will post pictures of the night on Sunday!

Hope you are all having a great week!

Hair Extensions - Loop n Lock

I've always had a hate relationship with my hair. My hair is really thin, dry and just blahhh... and of course you always want what you can't have. So naturally I want the thick full head of hair, I would even take the frizz! because there is a treatment for that - not as intense as getting hair extensions.

Here is a picture of how my hair is without blow drying or product etc.. nothing special - I also really am in need of a hair cut I know haha!

I am ultimately getting hair extensions not to lengthen my hair but to thicken it and be able to wear it down the whole day without having to tie it up because it looks ratty ...

So I spoke with my hair stylist and it's official on August 28th these babies are going in !

I know the picture quality is TERRIBLE - they will get better I promise :)

I will take a picture of the results after!!!

Acne Woes are Me

Some of us are blessed with flawless skin, I'll try and act like I'm not jealous but I'll be honest and admit that I'm green with envy. I have always had terrible skin, big pours, oily complexion, rough uneven skin tone and overall its just acne prone. I have my mom's skin, as she struggled just the same when she was my age. The only thing I really have to be thankful of is that I don't have Cystic Acne, which is the type that leaves crater indents on the skin. I really feel for people whom have to deal with this, it must be so frustrating.

As I mentioned above I have always had bad skin, I thought maybe by the time I was 24which is now that it would have died down a bit. It however only seems to be getting worse, this past year I have noticed it on my chest and progressively worse on my back. So great for summer! - please note heavy sarcasm. I'll spare the details on pictures.

I recently went to the doctor about this issue, she examined my back and gave me a sample of a topical cream called Metrogel.

Upon further research of this topical cream I came to find out that it's for the treatment of Rosacea and blemishes related to Rosacea. Well I don't have Rosacea and never have had an issue. I will give the Doctor the benefit of the doubt since she is obviously more qualified that I. I did really like this cream, from the way it goes on your skin and how quickly it really dries. The only issue is she gave me two samples that are literally the smallest tubes I have ever seen and told me to apply it to the problem area. Well that is pretty much everywhere and do you know how difficult it is to put this cream on all affected areas on your back by yourself. FAIL -Just give me the acne.

Aside from the Metrogel as a daily cleanser I have been religious on Cetaphil daily cleanser and lotion. I even belong to the online club - lame yes I realize. The cleanser has really served me well for a drugstore brand. I still have the acne however it keeps it toned down and manageable.

Along with the Cetaphil I use the Clarisonic Mia. This hasn't helped my acne but it's made my skin a lot smoother after I was my face, It really feels like I have just received a facial. Couldn't live without this little baby now.

This Monday I will be seeing a Dermatologist for the first time, I hope he can really help me by telling me how to really care for my skin and provide me with a solution that actually works.

I'll keep you posted! Have a great weekend!

Girl Crush

Okay, so I have always been a HUGE admirer of Amanda Bynes. To me this gorgeous girl has always truly shown how to be a lady in the limelight. She is one person I would LOVE to meet as I feel she is totally so down to earth. She is my absolute favorite for fashion, I love everything this girl wears. She keeps it simple while, still keeping up with the trends.

Here is my shoutout to you Amanda!

Abercrombie and Fitch - Career?

These past few months I have been seriously trying to soul search and figure out for real, exactly what I want to do in life - Who knew it was so hard. I'm a Sagittarius and according to my horoscope decision making does not come easy, go figure.
There is a new Abercrombie and Fitch coming into town here in the fall, a few months ago I phoned and spoke with a manager to express my interest in possible employment. Side story - Abercrombie has been my favorite store since .... well FOREVER ... I love their true American style girl next door look...
Back to story I received a phone call for an interview on Thursday to possibly work as a manager at the store.. I am so excited!!!! I don't know what to expect but I will be posting a few outfits up on here for the day !

Here is to a fab friday night!

You know those nights where you can't possible fathom going out because you are so drained, well that's what I feel like tonight. The highlight of my night (literally) was inhaling cookie dough ice-cream, thanks to god ol' BEN and JERRY!

I then hung out with my Mom and we watched Extraordinary Measures with Brendan Fraser and Harrison Ford, I recommend it for sure! It's one of those movies that allows you to really appreciate what you have, even if it's not much, it's always more than what someone else has.

You can probably see my mom in the background of this pic, she has a cast on because she has recently undergone reconstructive foot surgery:( Needless to say we have been catching up on some flicks and filling up with junk food --- so much for my health kick, HUGE FAIL
